The previously referred to State Training Providers (STPs) are now referred to as TAFE once again.

From 11 April 2016, the current 11 TAFE colleges and their 70 campus locations will be managed by a network of five TAFE colleges.
The key changes aim to make a more sustainable public training sector with higher qualification training outcomes for students and industry.
